See how much space Steam and Epic games use

A game’s installation, saves and mods can live in different places. DiskBOX’s Games page combines local Steam and Epic manifest discovery with locations you add yourself. Its totals describe the measured scope, rather than everything a game might have stored anywhere on the computer.

  1. Open Games and let measurement finish

Entering Games discovers known installations and starts background measurement. You can cancel it; completed results stay available. To start again after cancellation, explicitly rescan or re-enter the page.

  2. Add missing locations

Add a game or library folder if local manifests do not identify it. Associate known Saves, Mods or Screenshots folders explicitly. Standard named directories directly inside verified installations can be classified automatically, but unknown external save locations and mod managers need your input.

  3. Compare measured games

Use the treemap, size ranking, mind map or list. Filter by name or platform and drill into a game or category. These views reuse completed measurements. The Other aggregate contains the remaining measured items when a chart limits how many it draws.

  4. Read the measurement context

Check scope, measurement time and skipped entries before comparing totals. Unavailable data is different from a measured zero-byte game. Overlapping categories and locations belonging to other games are excluded to avoid counting the same files twice.
